Naqvi delivers 'special, important' message from PM Shehbaz to Iran

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has delivered a special and important message from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir to Iranian leadership.

The message was delivered by the minister as he visits Tehran, as per a statement from the Interior Ministry.

According to details, the interior minister also briefed about the recent Pact between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, and took them into confidence.

Naqvi further informed his counterpart that Pakistan’s Field Marshal was constantly in touch with Gulf countries, Iran and US.

Earlier, in an interview with Bloomberg News, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said “things are shaping up again in favor of a peace arrangement or a deal.”

“The signals in the last two three days are that we are close to some sort of an arrangement,” he said.
