No arrest made in Imran Farooq murder case: Malik

Interior Minister Rehman Malik has reiterated that no arrest was made in the murder case of MQM leader Dr Imran Farooq, a private TV channel reported Sunday. He said that the letter which had been sent to the Interior Ministry of Pakistan also does not contain this kind of information.
To a question, Rehman Malik said London police had written a letter to Foreign Ministry for seeking some information.
Talking about the present political situation, the minister said that elections/polls will decide who enjoys how much popularity, adding that rallies and public meetings are sign of healthy politics.
He said that agencies should not be blamed for any kind of role in politics, the channel added.
