Most of the commodity prices fell on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in process of modest trading, dealers said. On the grams side guwar Sindh and Punjab both dropped Rs 300 to Rs 6400-6500, yellow peas Ukraine lost Rs 50 to Rs 3650-3850 and yellow peas Ukraine dal also shed the same amount to Rs 4150-4350, other items maintained overnight levels in process of trading, they said.
On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh low type was down by Rs 100 to Rs 3050 and better type was lower by Rs 75 to Rs 3100, Irri-white (broken) lost Rs 100 to Rs 2400-2500, they said. Only one change was seen on the seeds side, where cottonseed oilcake Sindh low type shed Rs 50 to Rs 950 while the best type retained overnight level at Rs 1050, they said. Prices maintained overnight levels on the cereals side, they said.
