On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, sugar, ghee, poultry and other commodities will be provided to the consumers on concessionary rates in Ramzaan Bazaars. This was stated by Member National Assembly Bilal Yaseen while presiding over a meeting with representatives of Sugar Mills Association, here today. Secretary Industries Dr Shujaat Ali, Secretary Sugar Mills Association Mutahir Pasha and other stake-holders were also present.
Bilal Yaseen said that meetings with representatives of industrialists are underway so that they could facilitate the consumers by providing their products at ex-mill rates in Ramzaan Bazaars. He further stated that negotiations process with the representatives of poultry and ghee mills has been completed.
He said that after Sugar Mills Association, negotiations with the representative organisations of other industries will be held. He said that during the next few days concessionary Ramzaan prices of eatables will be fixed to provide relief to the people in the holy month of Ramzaan. Secretary Industries Dr Shujaat Ali said that concessionary rates in Ramzaan Bazaars will provide relief to the common man. He further disclosed that 325 Ramzaan Bazaars will be set up in the province.
