Met Office warned about Heavy to Very Heavy Monsoon Rainfall in the following areas of Upper Punjab today (Saturday) Sargodha division (Mianwali, Sargodha and Khushab districts), Faisalabad division (Chineot, Faisalabad and Jhang districts). Gujranwala division (Mandi Bahaudin and Hafizabad districts) and Rawalpindi division (Jhelum and Chakwal district).
It said heavy downpours may generate urban flooding in some of the cities and flash flooding in the local Nullah/Streams of the said areas.
SIGNIFICANT FLOOD FORECAST: Flood Warning Centre said here on Friday that moderate flooding is likely in Hill Torrents of DG Khan and Rajanpur Districts due to Moderate rains at times in Suleman range during the period from 2000 PST of 15.07.2011 to 0800 PST of 16.07.2011.
