Cellular subscribers reach 143 million

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Thursday said the cellular subscribers had been reached 143 million with teledensity of 70.83 percent.

According to the official data, the 3G/4G subscribers have been reached 47 billion out of 143 million mobile users in the country, teledensity for 3G/4G subscribers has reached 23.33 percent and teledensity of cellular subscriber reached 70.25 percent.

Whereas broadband subscriber reached 50 billion and teledensity of  broadband reached 24.48 percent.

The Ufone 3G users reached 5.5 million, Telenor 10.5 million, Mobilink 14.06 million and  Zong 9 million till November 2017. Telenor 4G users reached 1.3 million, Mobilink 4G 1.7 million and Zong 4G 4.8 million.
