Blast in Kurram Agency kills two

At-least two persons were killed and six others were wounded in an explosion in Kurram tribal agency on Saturday, officials said. The explosion occurred when a passenger vehicle, reached Ladda Road in Kurram tribal agency, private TV channels quoted Javed Khan, a local official as saying.
The vehicle was destroyed in the explosion, which led to the deaths of two persons, while six other persons were wounded. In another incident in central Kurram, armed men abducted eight people along-with their three vehicles. Kurram area often remains under the effects of militancy. Sectarian violence between two Muslim groups, Shia and Sunni, in the area is also a main reason behind many incidents of extremism in the agency.
