Recent reports suggest that the smartphone manufacturer Samsung will soon be launching a foldable phone for its users in 2018.

Though the company has not officially confirmed the launch, the Samsung Galaxy X model number SM-G888N0, which was put up in a new support page for the new phone on Samsung's official website, shows that the announcement is not far for the new phone.

The foldable phone will be called Galaxy X and it is based on an entirely new idea and will set new standards. So, it can be said that this new, one of its kind phone is not in any danger from other existing phones but rather it will implore other companies to make phones like Galaxy X.

Samsung Galaxy X to beat iPhone X

Rumors have been going around since Samsung Electronics accidentally revealed in September that Samsung will be launching its new invention in 2018. Reports now suggest that the South Korean smartphone manufacturer may launch Galaxy X alongside Galaxy S9 and the S9+, reported India Today.

Samsung Galaxy X might make iPhone X out-fashioned, as Galaxy S8, has more screen to body ratio than the Apple’s new bezel-less device, according to TechJuice.

According to reports, Samsung may announce the S9 lineup at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018, which is expected to be, sometime around late February. Samsung might launch the Galaxy X foldable phone for South Korea first and later bring it to other markets. However, the company has neither made any confirmation or denial.
