KARACHI: Two ships arrived at Port Qasim on Friday 09th December, 2011 carrying containers at QICT, furnace oil at FOTCO.
Berth occupancy remained at 57% at the Port on Saturday where a total of seven ships namely M.V Fisher-K, M.V Frauke, M.V MSC Catania, M.V CMA CGM Eiffel, M.T Chem Road Rose, M.T Gas Elixir, M.T Lahore, M.V Iqnian Sea are currently occupying berths to load/offload rice, cement, containers, palm oil, furnace oil and LPG handled at Port last 24 hours.
Cargo handled operations were carried out smoothly at the port where a cargo volume 89070 tonnes comprising 64210 tonnes import, 24860 tonnes export and 2232 (TUES) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
M.V CMA CGM Fiffel and M.T Gas Elixr sailed on Friday afternoon.
