Karan is obsessed with Fawad Khan; Ranbir Kapoor

In a recent interview to an Indian comedy group AIB, Ranbir Kapoor admitted his friend and movie director Karan Johar’s extreme fascination with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.  The ‘Jagga Jasoos’ actor got candid on speaking about his ‘Ae Dil Ha Muskil’ co-star calling him ‘a great talent’.

Ranbir Kapoor was asked if he ever felt like the lesser hot person whenever he had Fawad around in the room to which ‘Rockstar’ actor replied, “For sure! Especially Karan! Karan is obsessed with Fawad!”

Talking about Karan’s love for Fawad, Ranbir further added, “You have no idea the kind of love he feels for him! Suddenly when he was on set, Anushka and I were pushed aside, and he’s giving Fawad direction and then slips on to me and Anushka and say, ‘Yeah, go ahead!’ But with Fawad, he was giving him layers, like his costume must be worked on, his hair should look perfect!”

KJo himself has admitted to the fact that he would always choose Fawad over Ranbir anytime. Karan was once asked to pick his favorite between the two co-stars to which KJo replied: “I am going to go with Fawad because he is the new novelty and Ranbir knows I am going to go with Fawad,” Times of India reported.

The director who was criticized by the Indian political party for casting Fawad in his movie, 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', admitted his fondness for the Pakistani star on multiple platforms. Bollywood actress Twinkle Khanna also hints about his fondness towards Pakistani actor on his show ‘Koffee with Karan’.
