SEOUL: South Korea's central bank said it bought back 2.2 trillion won ($1.96 billion) worth of monetary stabilisation bonds (MSBs) ahead of their maturity in an auction on Tuesday, less than the planned 2.4 trillion won worth.
Tenders received amounted to 3.21 trillion won, the Bank of Korea said in a statement.
