KARACHI: A 22 member delegation of Indian journalists comprising members of Mumbai Press Club arrived here on Monday.
The delegation led by Jatin Desai was extended a warm welcome by the members of Karachi Press Club and activists representing different NGOs at the Quaid e Azam International Airport.
Karachi Press Club has arranged a reception in their honor on Tuesday during which a memorandum of understanding (MoU) would be signed by the office bearers of the two press clubs. The reception will also be attended by notables of the city.
Prior to it a round table conference would be held providing an opportunity to the journalists from the two countries to discuss ways for restoration of mutual confidence among masses and bring people of India and Pakistan closer to one another.
The Mumbai Press Club members will visit Hyderabad on Wednesday and attend a reception organized in their honor by the members of Hyderabad Press Club.
