Few days back, Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor was furious that younger actors did not come to Vinod Khanna’s funeral, which died on April 27 after battling bladder cancer. However, Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon has hit back at the comments made by Rishi Kapoor.
Kriti Sanon rejects the comments made by Rishi Kapoor that younger actors don’t care about anything else but just want to party.
According to HINDUSTAN TIMES, Kriti said, “I would like to believe it was situational. I don’t think the present generation is less attached. I personally am emotional about people who I know and I am around.”
“There can be individual reasons for people who knew Vinod Khanna and worked with him, but still were not there (funeral). There might be people who were not in Mumbai or were travelling. I can’t comment on someone as to why they didn’t turn up,” she added.
Discarding Rishi Kapoor’s statements Kriti said it is not at all true that younger lots of stars are emotionless. Well no other celebrity has yet reacted to Rishi Kapoor’s statement yet and Kriti is the first star to respond to his sarcastic comment.
Kriti was last seen in filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale (2015), which also starred late Vinod Khanna playing the role of Varun Dhawan and Shah Rukh Khan’s father.
This will be the first time that Kriti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput appear together on screen, and they definitely have a connection! The romantic drama, Raabta, is the directorial debut of Dinesh Vijan, producer of blockbusters such as Love Aaj Kal, Cocktail and Badlapur.
