Ivory Coast Oct-March cocoa product exports up 2.5pc

ABIDJAN: Ivory Coast exported 219,265 tonnes of semi-finished cocoa products by the end of March from the start of the season on Oct. 1, up 2.5 percent from the same period a year earlier, provisional port data showed on Wednesday.

The cocoa season in the world's top producer runs from October to September.

The following are official figures for cocoa product exports in tonnes, including a breakdown of cocoa powder, butter and chocolate. There was no breakdown for other cocoa derivatives.
