ISLAMABAD: A high level Chinese Parliamentary delegation of National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) will arrive on Wednesday on a 2-day official visit to Pakistan.
The objective of the visit was to further boost mutual cooperation and strengthen parliamentary linkages between two countries, said a press release issued here.
This is the highest level delegation during the current year from China as the Chairman National Committee of CPPCC, YU ZHENGSHENG stands at No 4 in the political ranking among the Chinese political leadership.
The delegation will exchange views with Pakistani leadership on matters pertaining to further enhancing bilateral cooperation besides discussing regional and global issues having significance for both Pakistan and China.
It may be mentioned here that the invitation of this visit was extended by Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani.
Pakistan places its bilateral relations with China at high esteem and high level interactions and exchanges are a regular feature of close bilateral relations.
