BUCHAREST: Romania sold 97.9 million lei ($22.94 million) of Sept. 2031 treasury bonds on Monday, less than planned, at an average accepted yield of 4.27 percent, central bank data showed.
Debt managers, who had aimed to sell 200 million lei, last issued the bond in October at an average yield of 3.63 percent. They rejected all bids at a tender in November.
So far this year, Romania has sold a little over 10 billion lei and 240 million euros worth of domestic bills and bonds.
