poland-flag-WARSAW: Poland's general government deficit narrowed to 2.4 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) in 2016 from 2.6 percent in 2015, preliminary data from the statistics office showed on Monday.

The data also showed that the country's general government debt rose to 54.4 percent of GDP in 2016 from 51.1 percent in the previous year.
