KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Monday having 48227.75 points with a positive change of 71.82 and volume of 64,959,720 shares.
High and Low were 48384.02 and 48120.93 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 159,929,330shares with 372 total traded companies out of which 128 were up 130 were down and 14 were unchanged.
COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 27,895,000 shares. It was followed by ENGINEERING with a total traded volume of 26,322,400 shares.
The three top traded companies were Aisha Steel Mill. with a volume of 15,891,500 and price per share of 25.56 (0.10), Byco Petroleum with a volume 4,462,000 of price per share of 21.90 (0.35), Engro Foods Ltd.XD with a volume 2,798,800 of price per share of 168.19 (5.75).
The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share 2539.37 (120.92), Nestle Pakistan with price per share of 9200.00 (105.00) and Indus Motor Co share of 1671.13 (79.57).
The top three decliners were Unilever Foods with price per share of 5890.00 (310.00), Rafhan MaizeXDÂ Â Â with price per share of 7262.06 (137.94) and Pak Tobacco share of 1476.67 (37.91).
