romania-flag-marchBUCHAREST: Romania aims to sell 4.37 billion lei ($1.03 billion) worth of leu currency bills and bonds in April, including 465 million lei at non-competitive rounds of auctions, the finance ministry said on Thursday.

Debt managers sold about 3 billion lei of debt in March, as well as 240 million euros worth of February 2021 domestic bonds.

In April, the ministry has scheduled six bond tenders with maturities from two to 15 years, and one auction for one-year paper worth 800 million lei each.
