imageThe hard hitting West Indian middle order batsman Marlon Samuels has praised Pakistan for its hospitality and conducting the Pakistan Super League (PSL) amidst high security.

In a video message on Twitter, Samuels praised the security provided by the Pakistani forces, and said one could not ask for more. He said that cricket should return to Pakistan and he would continue to promote this cause.

For me playing out cricket in Pakistan was more than a visit. Playing here has returned happiness to the sad faces, who were not able to see cricket here for long, said Samuels .

Cricket should definitely come into by now, and I will continue to promote it until I die.

Samuels was part of the Peshawar Zalmi squad, which came to Lahore to attend the final of the PSL, the side eventually won the PSL title. On his decision to visit Pakistan Samuels informed that he did not hesitate to decide whether he should go or not.

I am a Pakistani by heart, and that's why I have no hesitation in my decision to come to Pakistan."

Speaking directly to the head of the army Qamar Javed Bajwa , he said: "I salute you General (Bajwa). I'm looking forward to getting the Pakistani army metal badge on my shoulders. I want to be part of Pakistan army."

The PSL Champion Peshawar Zalmi met the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday.
