LAHORE: Newly appointed Chinese Council General (CG) to Lahore Long Dingbin said Punjab Chief Minister Muhammd Shehbaz Sharif was called 'Man of Action' in China for his ability to get things done in time and dynamic leadership qualities he possessed.
Chinese CG called on the Punjab Chief Minister here Friday and discussed matters of mutual interest, including promotion of Pak-China relations and CPEC projects.
Dingbin hailed Shehbaz Sharif for his active role in speeding up CPEC project and strengthening Pak-China ties.
The Chief Minister felicitated Dingbin for assuming the charge and wished him all the best.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said Pakistan and China were tied in the lasting bond of friendship, adding that both countries had stood by each other in the hour of need.
Shehbaz said the CPEC would prove a game-changer which would strengthen economic bonds of both countries, adding that other significant measures were also being taken for the promotion of trade relations between the two countries.
