imagePakistans discarded off-spinner Saeed Ajmal, who is eyeing an international comeback, lamented that he was not provided with the level of support needed of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Ajaml, once considered one of the best spinner produced by Pakistan, was dropped from the national squad after his bowling action was banned by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Despite being one of the top wicket takers in the domestic circuit, the spin maestro has so far struggled to get the green signal from the selectors.

"I am not disappointed at all. Whereas I am happy for whatever I have been able to achieve for Pakistan. This year I took most wickets in the ODI tournament and I'm hopeful that I will get a chance to represent Pakistan, stated Saeed Ajmal, reported BBC Urdu.

However, optimistic with his form Ajmal was dejected with the boards attitude.

PCB worked on my bowling action and bared all the expenses for which I am very grateful. But I was not allowed to play cricket when my bowling action being corrected. I was left alone and didnt found that support, said Ajmal.

"Old friends are still by my side, but those involved in the cricket world seemed to have parted ways.

Saeed Ajmal took 178 wickets in 35 Tests and picked up 184 scalps in 113 One Day internationals (ODI), making him one of the major strike-force behind Pakistans rise in Test cricket.
