RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Monday having 46938.59 points with a positive change of 354.06 and volume of 187,253,620 shares.

High and Low were 47070.56 and 46584.53 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 344,151,190 shares with 402 total traded companies out of which 192 were up 194 were down and 16 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 87,160,800 shares. It was followed by CEMENT with a total traded volume of 40,977,350 shares.

The three top traded companies were B.O.Punjab with a volume of 30,226,000 and price per share of 18.28 (1.00), Power Cement Ltd. with a volume 26,001,000 of price per share of 14.32 (0.84), Pak Int.Bulk with a volume 20,580,500 of price per share of 39.22 (1.86).

The top three advancers were Sanofi-Aventis with price per share 2420.61 (115.26), Bata (Pak) price per share of 4700.00 (100.00) and Siemens Pak. share of 1386.57 (66.03).

The top three decliners were Rafhan Maize with price per share of 8001.00 (199.00), Service Ind.Ltd with price per share of 1489.84 (36.15) and Ismail Ind share of 352.67 (18.50).
