RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Monday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 46944.26 with a positive change of 359.73 and volume of 102,135,650 shares.

High and Low were 47070.56 and 46584.53 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 182,310,530 shares with 357 total traded companies out of which 193 were up, 145 were down and 19 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 40,386,900 shares. It was followed by CEMENT with a total traded volume of 29,023,050 shares.

The three top traded companies were Power Cement Ltd. with a volume of 21,375,500 and price per share of 14.25 (0.76), Pak Int.Bulk with a volume 15,902,500 of price per share of 38.90 (1.54), B.O.Punjab with a volume 10,814,500 of price per share of 17.77 (0.32).

The top three advancers were Sanofi-Aventis with price per share 2420.61 (115.26), Siemens Pak. with price per share of 1375.00 (54.33) and Pak Suzuki share of 599.31 (28.53).

The top three decliners were Colgate Palmolive with price per share of 1700.00 (52.17), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4613.00 (43.61) and Service Ind.Ltd per share of 1495.00 (26.25).
