Rescue 1122 Khanewal rescues 100,390 people in eight years

KHANEWAL: Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 Multan has rescued 100,390 people by responding on 89,600 emergency calls during last eight years.

According to a spokesman for the department, Rescue 1122 Khanewal received 89600 emergency calls including 30285 of road accidents, 39857 medical emergencies, 1112 of fire, 4485 of crime, 177 of drowning into water, 93 of building collapse and 11586 others.

The Rescue 1122 Khanewal rescued 100,390 people, provided first aid to 17573 patients and shifted 76046 to the hospitals.

Rescue 1122 Khanewal worked round the clock during the flood of 2010, 2012 and 2014 in the district.
