MULTAN: Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafiq Rajwana directed officials to solves the problems faced by the masses, as serving masses should be top priority.
He ordered for completion of all uplif projects on time and also provide facilities to masses.
The Punjab governor expressed these views while presiding over the ongoing development projects review meeting of Multan Development Authority here at Circuit House on Friday.
He said that work on master plan of Water & Sanitation Authority (WASA) is in progress and hoped that the problems of citizens would be reduced after solution to sewerage problems in Multan.
He ordered the officials to fully implement the by-laws regarding housing societies and follow the rules and code of conduct and merit in all works. He directed further improvement in MDA performance.
Commissioner Multan Capt (R) Asadullah Khan briefed the governor about development projects. He said that work on all uplift projects was in progress on a fast pace and maximum relief was being provided to masses.
He said that performance of the MDA had improved.
The Inner Ring Road, Outer City Ring Road projects, MDA performance and other problems were also discussed in the meeting.
