imageFAISALABAD: The resident mission of Asian Development Bank (ADB), along with foreign journalists Thursday visited the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) headquarters in connection with the 50 years celebrations of the ADB.

Senior External Relations Officer Muhammad Ismail Khan also accompanied the mission members.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO), FESCO Rashid Ahmed Aslam briefed the mission and said that expansion of 75 grid station, replacement of power transformer and purchase of modern gadgets was being made with support of ADB.

He said that about 33 projects had been completed and remaining would be completed till Mach, 2018.

He hoped that hardworking staff of FESCO would complete all projects before the deadline.

After completion of the projects, FESCO distribution network would be able to provide electricity to its 3.6 million consumers without any load management. Later, the journalists visited the old thermal power and under-construction GIS grid stations.
