FBR directed to resolve difficulties of tax payers

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar Sunday directed the Federal Board of Revenue (RBR) to resolve all difficulties being faced by the tax payers in filing of their tax returns.

The minister chaired a meeting here to review the progress on revenue collection and performance of the FBR for the month of October 2016, said a ministry statement.

FBR Chairman Nisar Muhammad Khan updated the minister on the monthly revenue collection and also apprised him on the progress on filing of annual tax returns.

Ishaq Dar directed the FBR that tax filers should be facilitated to ensure timely submission of their tax returns.

Senior officials of the Ministry of Finance and FBR attended the meeting.
