PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Industries Abdul Karim Khan Tuesday said the effective and sustainable industrial policy of the government will attract investment and usher economic uplift in the province.
He expressed this while presiding over a review meeting regarding new plots allotment in Small Industries Development Board (SIDB).
The authorities of SIDB, Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KP-EZDMC) and other officials concerned attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed in detail the implementation of the transparent procedure for allotment of industrial plots and provision of attractive incentives for attracting serious investors and other concerned issues.
The Special Assistant said beside provision of luxurious means of communication, other benefits could also be achieved of the Swat Motorway.
In this connection, he said steps were continued for the promotion of investment and development of industrial sector in the province.
