Bears returned in the driving seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where selected stocks closed in negative territory amid decrease in index. ISE Network Index showed an improvement of 3.22 points as the price-based indicator moved from 11,684.40 to 11,681.18 points. The overall turnover amounted to 12,44,100 shares as compared to previous volume of 30,97,400 shares.
Total 84 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (51) closed in negative territory, 32 showed plus signs whereas one company remained pegged to its overnight level.
The turnover of PTCL was 60,97,00 shares as compared to previous volume of 19,20,600 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 45,82,00 shares as compared to previous turnover of 878,500 shares. The volume of Pakistan Oilfields was 57,200 shares as compared to previous turnover of 78,800 shares.
