Official results confirmed on Monday that an anti-Syrian coalition clinched a majority in parliament in the first elections since Syrian troops withdrew from Lebanon.
Interior Minister Hassan al-Sabaa told a news conference that a list backed by the son of a slain former prime minister had won all 28 seats up for grabs in northern Lebanon on Sunday.
