PIA's clarification regarding hiring of legal officer

imageKARACHI: The spokesperson for PIA has clarified that no new legal consultant or legal officer has been hired by PIA.

One of the applicants visited PIA head office in Karachi on Monday to submit his application and see the scope of work, he stated.

The PIA spokesperson said it is in public knowledge that an advertisement is already in the paper and the tender will be opened publicly.

He emphasized that selection of new legal officer will be in accordance with rules in a transparent manner. Media is requested to refrain from speculation in this regard.
