As a part of ongoing network expansion programme, Mobilink has launched its sales and services outlet in Mianwali, a remote but important district of the Punjab, says a press release issued by the company here on Thursday.
In the next fifteen days the company plans to launch its services in Jhang, Muzaffargarh, Vehari, Mandi Bahauddin and Chakwal in Punjab. While in the NWFP province, services are being extended to Bannu, Risalpur and Nowshera. Services will also be soon available to the people of Larkana in Sindh.
Mobilink in the past year has extended its network coverage to 250 cities. In June 2003 the company was providing service to 140 cities and since then has expanded its coverage area aggressively.
It also plans to add more areas to the its network in the year 2004. The company enjoys over 60 percent share of the market share amongst the subscriber base of cellular users.
