Pipro draft bill approved

The Federal Cabinet in its meeting on Thursday approved the draft bill to set up Pakistan Intellectual Property Rights Organisation (Pipro).
The Cabinet also resolved the pending issue regarding which ministry or division would have over all administrative responsibility for Pipro and decided that the organisation would be placed under the administrative control of the Cabinet Division.
As a result of this latest decision, it will now be possible to introduce Pipro draft bill in the Parliament for enactment.
