KARACHI: Telenor Group has appointed Irfan Wahab Khan as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Telenor Pakistan.
An announcement here on Tuesday said that the current CEO of Telenor Pakistan, Michael Foley, will join the Telenor Bulgaria on the same position and continue as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tameer Microfinance Bank in Pakistan.
It said that both Foley and Khan will be members of the Group Executive Management team. The new appointments will be effective from 1st August 2016.
`I am pleased that Michael Foley will take responsibility for his second operation since joining the Telenor Group and that Irfan Wahab Khan will take the helm at Telenor Pakistan. With these appointments we utilize our executives' competence and knowledge across different markets and functions', says Sigve Brekke, President and CEO of the Telenor Group.
