The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has condemned the re-arrest of senior freedom fighter Sheikh Abdul Aziz.
This incident, the APHC said, have exposed the claims made by the puppet government on the political front.
In a statement issued here, the Hurriyat Conference said that the conglomerate continued with their mass contact programs.
Those who made speeches in different places across occupied Kashmir included Agha Syed Hasan, Ghulam Nabi Sumji, Hakim Abdur Rashid, Malik Noor Mohammed Fayaz, Mohammed Yousuf Mit and Mohammed Rafiq Ganai.
Agha who made a speech in Budgam said that while on one hand India and Pakistan have resumed talks, the genocide in Kashmir goes on with impunity.
"Present rulers have crossed the records of the earlier ones", he has said, adding that the state controlled gunmen stand unleashed afresh on the people. In this situation, the bilateral negotiations between India and Pakistan are useless, he added.
The APHC said that unless India admits that Kashmir is a dispute, its statements on Kashmir carry no weight at all. The Hurriyat highlighted the instances of suppression and torture and said this was part of the policy.
