Prime Minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali has approved the holding of single country exhibition in Bahrain from February 17-20 for promoting and boosting the country's exports in various fields.
The Prime Minister gave his approval while talking to the Minister of Industries and Production Liaquat Ali Jatoi, who called on him at the Prime Minister's Secretariat on Saturday.
The Prime Minister expressed the government's determination to take all possible measures for boosting the country's exports and to provide the necessary facilities to exporters.
He hoped that the holding of exhibition would help in introducing Pakistani products to the Middle Eastern markets in a big manner.
Earlier, the Minister of Industries and Production informed the Prime Minister that the 4-day exhibition would be organised at the Convention Center, Bahrain's International Exhibition Center in collaboration with the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and Embassy of Pakistan.
It would display Pakistani sports goods, home appliances, engineering, electrical goods, fans, ceramics, cement and jewellery, auto parts, granite and marble.
