Bulls hold sway on ISE

Bulls continued to stay in the driving seat on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities continued to show healthy signs amid increase in index.
ISE network index showed an increase of 51.97 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 9,173.59 to 9,225.56 points.
The overall turnover was amounted to 1,707,700 shares as compared with the previous volume of 3,035,400 shares.
Total 163 stocks were quoted on the ready-board. 111 gainers led the scene, 47 closed in negative territory while 5 companies refused to observe net change.
The volume of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) was 445,500 shares as compared with the previous turnover of 844,500 shares.
The volume of Pakistan Oilfields was 334,500 shares. The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser was 339,000 shares.
