Pakistan Railways has pointed Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi of the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) as member of the PR Advisory Committee, Railway Headquarters Lahore, says a notification issued in this regard on Monday.
Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi, who is also chairman of the SCCI Standing Committee on Railway Dry Port, has been re-appointed as member of the PR Advisory Committee due to his services as he was also member of the said body during financial year 2002-2003.
He is also chairman of Frontier Customs Agents Groups NWFP.
The importers and exporters in Peshawar have hailed the decision of the Pakistan Railways for re-appointing Sarhadi as member of the advisory committee and termed it good omen for the economic development of the province.
