PTCL records Rs3.1bn net profit in Q-1, 2016

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has continued its profitable journey once again by making a net profit of Rs 3.1 billion which was 27 % higher as compared to Rs 2.5 billion of same period last year.

As per financial results for quarter ended March 31, 2016 presented in its Board of Directors meeting, the profitability of the Group also increased significantly.

PTCL Group earned Rs. 29.3 billion revenue during the quarter whereas PTCL's revenues were Rs. 18 billion. The Company's profitability remained stable despite competition.
