PIA management taking steps to enhance revenue

KARACHI: The management of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is taking various steps to enhance its revenue.

This was stated by the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of PIA, Bernd Hildenbrand, here on Wednesday.

Spokesman of the national flag carrier said that Bernd Hildenbrand held a meeting with Chairman and President of Exim Bank of the US, Fred Philip Hochberg, at PIA headquarters this morning.

He said that Hildenbrand informed that PIA management is taking various

steps to increase airline's revenue, reduce its losses and bring about efficiency in its systems.

Hochberg informed the COO that Exim Bank, US, may look into the possibility of providing financing for the leasing of additional aircraft for PIA's fleet.
