No plan to shift PIA's flight, cargo operations to Pakistan Airlines

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has no plan to hand over its flight and cargo operations to the Pakistan Airlines (PA), PIA spokesman in a statement issued here on Friday said.

Referring to a news item appearing in a section of press, he clarified that there is no plan to shift PIA's flight operation and cargo service to Pakistan Airways (PA) after PIA is converted into a limited company.

After PIA's conversion into Pakistan International Airlines Company Limited (PIACL), the airlines would continue as an independent limited company with more efficient decision making, he added.
