KARACHI: Karachi Transport Action Committee Sunday demanded cut in LPG price to facilitate citizens and public transporters.
Action committee President Muhammad Ashraf banglori, Chaduhry Mazhar Hussain, Lala Sultan and other leaders asked the government to slash the LPG price and make at equal to the price of CNG.
They regretted that presently LPG was costlier than petrol and it was causing huge losses to the transporters running their vehicles on LPG.
They demanded that either the government should ensure same price for both CNG and LPG, or order running taxis, rickshaws and other public transport vehicles solely on CNG.
