uwaitDUBAI: Kuwait produced more than 2.8 million barrels a day (bpd) of oil throughout August state news agency Kuna reported oil minister Mohammad al-Busairi as saying on Sunday.

According to the latest official data provided by the Joint Data Initiative (JODI), Kuwait produced an average of 2.60 million bpd in June 2011 and 2.31 million bpd in August 2010.
