CNG stations remain open for Eid
LAHORE: All the CNG filling stations of five regions of Punjab remained open on Monday as the government decided to suspend weekly closure to facilitate inter-city travelling ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The CNG filling station will remain open till September 4 without any weekly closure according to the announcement of the government.
According to Awais Bajwa, spokesman of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited,gas supply to CNG stations of Lahore, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Multan and Sahiwal region will continue and the new loadshedding policy will be announced after Eid.
Ghiyyas Abdullah Paracha, chairman supreme council of All Pakistan CNG Association appreciated the decision of the government said that people will get relief due to non-stop supply of CNG in the province.He thanked federal minister Dr. Asim Hussain for his special favour to CNG sector even during the annual closure of Qadir Pur Gas Field.
