MEXICO CITY: Mexico's peso gained on Wednesday in trading before the official open, as the dollar sank against a basket of global currencies.
The peso gained 0.96 percent to 12.1455 per dollar, strengthening from its Tuesday Reuters reference price of 12.2620 pesos.
