ISLAMABAD: Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in a telephone call on Thursday inquired after chief of Qaumi Watan Party Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao after a suicide attack on his convoy.
The minister strongly condemned attack on his convoy.
Nisar expressed satisfaction that Aftab Sherpao remained safe in the attack.
He paid tribute to the police constable who was martyred in the attack and expressed sympathy with heirs of the deceased.
The minister sought an urgent report of the incident from Inspector General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
