Published Updated

standared-chartered-KARACHI: Standard Chartered has been named `Best Investment Bank in Pakistan' by Finance Asia for 2011.

A statement here on Monday said that this award is in recognition of Standard Chartered's superior product structuring and distribution capabilities, and reinforces our dominant leadership position in Pakistan.

It said that the Standard Chartered Pakistan's structured trade finance and financing solutions group closed eight deals during the period.

The Bank was effective in ensuring that the complete suite of products and services it offers were available to its clients.

Commenting on this achievement, Head of Global Markets for Standard Chartered Pakistan, Naim Abdullah, said "We are delighted to have won this level of international recognition for our banking services. This award attests to our continued success in delivering creative, world class solutions to our clients across the product spectrum. It's great to see that our success is recognised by a global magazine that is widely read by our clients as well as our competitors."
