MUSCAT: Oman central bank sees the oil producer's economy growing by 5 percent in real terms this year, while inflation should remain between 4 and 5 percent, a senior central bank official said on Monday.
"We are expecting real GDP (gross domestic product) growth of 5 percent this year, especially because of higher oil production and non-oil GDP growth is good so far and the retail sector is picking up," the official, who asked not to be named, told Reuters.
