LONDON: European stock markets rose in opening deals on Monday, with Frankfurt and Paris gaining more than 1.0 percent in value, after a rollercoaster ride last week as investors tracked the eurozone debt crisis.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index of leading companies rose 1.23 percent to 6,072.06 points and the Paris CAC 40 rallied 1.07 percent to 3,248.14 points, while London's FTSE 100 added 0.66 percent to 5,355.44 points.
